PrOGRESS in 2025
Introduction
The 2025 report marks Mercuria’s eighth annual Corporate Social Responsibility report, covering the Group’s activities, performance and progress during the 2025 calendar year.
This section provides a detailed view of how Mercuria is advancing its approach to responsible sourcing, ethical trading and sustainability across its expanding activities in energy, metals and critical minerals. It highlights both the progress made and the challenges encountered, reflecting the complexity of operating in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
Our reporting is supported by a range of key performance indicators (KPIs) and aligned with recognised frameworks, including the World Economic Forum’s Measuring Stakeholder Capitalism metrics. Together, these provide a structured and transparent view of how we track performance, manage risk and continue to strengthen our practices over time.

PARTNER PROFILES 2025
In 2025, Mercuria continued to partner with organisations across the energy and commodities landscape, supporting innovation, strengthening supply chains and advancing more sustainable practices.
This year’s Partner Profiles highlight collaborations across critical areas of the transition—from responsible sourcing of cobalt in the Democratic Republic of the Congo through Entreprise Générale du Cobalt, to the development of next-generation thermal technologies with Exergyn, and the production of lower-carbon fuels with Pretoria Energy. Together, these partnerships reflect the breadth of Mercuria’s activities and the role of collaboration in delivering practical, scalable solutions.
Our Partner Profiles showcase these collaborations in action, illustrating how we work alongside our partners to share expertise, develop new approaches and create impact across different sectors and geographies.
